RaceMetrica

Independent real-time athlete timing, tracking and event-analytics platform designed for unreliable LTE/mobile conditions. Built with TypeScript/JavaScript, React, WebSockets and MongoDB, with retry/acknowledgement, explicit event ordering, local caching and reconnect/resynchronisation flows. Used with limited production access at 10+ live events; the largest verified event involved 80+ athletes across separate starts and eight timing checkpoints. The live interface is designed for up to 50 simultaneously tracked athletes per start.
